We welcome you to our Summer Camp 2017. Two weeks of fun, games, sports and themed workshops all taught in English.

A perfect opportunity to meet new International and Danish friends and to improve your language skills.

You and your new friends get to engage in inspirational, educational and fun activities together with experienced teachers and staff.

You can choose between the following workshops.

Week 26 Sports & Outdoor, Drama, Art&Craft and Cookery

For an active week filled with sports and outdoor activities choose our Sports & Outdoor workshop or challenge yourself to stand center stage in our Drama workshop.

You can also create beautiful pieces of artwork in Art&Craft or become our own Kochs MasterChef in Cookery Class.

Field trips Wednesday – The Cookery workshop will visit a local farmers market to be inspired and pick out fresh produce. Sport & Outdoor will go to the forest and the beach. The exact days will depend on the weather forecast.

Week 27 Drama, Art&Craft and Cookery The theme of week 27 is the Vikings.

We will learn about the Vikings and write our own short play based in the Viking Age. Our Art&Craft workshop will produce beautiful Viking artifacts and our Cookery class will prepared delicious meals using bon fires and BBQs.

Field trips Tuesday – We all visit Moesgaard Museum (www.momu.dk) for a guided tour of the exhibition on the Vikinge Age Wednesday – The Cookery workshop will visit a local farmers market to be inspired and pick out fresh produce.

Parent day We invite all parents to join us for Lunch prepared by the cookery class on Fridays at 12:00. After Lunch the children will perform their play and show they work from Art&Craft work as well as Sports exercises.

Practical information: The main language of instruction are English, however the staff understands and speaks Danish as well

Whom: Our Summer Camp is for children age 7-12 no matter which school they attend

When: The first two weeks of the Summer Holiday. We open at 7:30 AM and start planned activities at 9:00 AM Breakfast will be provide from 7:45-8:30 AM The planned activities stops at 2:30 PM and we close at 4:30 PM

Where: Kochs Skole, Skt. Johannes Alle 4, 8000 Aarhus C Kochs Skole is centrally located in Aarhus with easy access to the main thoroughfares and next to Aarhus University, VIA University College, Aarhus Kommunehospital (Aarhus Universitetshospital Randersvej).

You can take the following busses to Kochs Skole; Bus 1A, 5A, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 100, 109, 117, 118, 120, 121, 122, 123, 200, 901X, 918X and 925X

Sign up: No later than the first of June. We have a limited number of spots available so sign up right away to ensure a spot for your child.

Price: For pupils at Kochs: 975,-kr/week including breakfast (optional), snacks, fruit and lunch. For everyone else: 1.175,-kr/week including breakfast (optional), snacks, fruit and lunch.
